Hi,
I came across this very interesting article on interfacing an Arduino card with FSX here: http://www.jimspage.co.nz/uno1_interface.htm
I have been looking at arduino cards for a while and wanted to have a play around with them. I have done a little bit of PIC programming in the past and built a small FSBus interface for a home simulator years ago.
Arduinos are an open-source electronics prototyping platform that has gained a lot of popularity over the past couple of years. More info can be found here: http://www.arduino.cc/ There is also a .NET card called the Netduino: http://www.netduino.com/ which might be a bit more useful for those of us using Visual Studio for Prepar3D development. Has anyone in the community done interfacing with one or more of these devices? Please share your experiences, we would love to hear about it!
Regards,
John
