As you know, Prepar3D will be available on Monday next week for purchase and download.
The Prepar3D application is a very large file! The download will be 10.5Gb and the SDK will be an additional 304Mb. A download manager is a must in order to download successfully and ensure a restart if the connection is interrupted for any reason. You could download without it if you have a solid reliable internet connection. Any good download manager that can point to an FTP or HTTP download address will be fine. I have successfully tested wxDownload Fast (an open source download manager app) with Prepar3D. You can get it from here: http://dfast.sourceforge.net/
After you purchase or subscribe, a download address will be sent to you. Enter the address into your download manager and you will be good to go!
To download with wxDownload Fast:
1. Press the “New” button on the menu bar.
2. Enter your download directory (make sure you have more than 10.5Gb free!) in Save to. Enter in the download address from your invoice into the Address box. Press Add. Press OK.
